Suella Braverman has denied reports she is considering defecting to Nigel Farage's Reform UK.

The former Home Secretary has been at the centre of fevered speculation in Westminster after repeatedly attacking her Tory colleagues.

MPs were furious after she wrote an article the day before polling day saying the election battle was over and attacking the Conservatives' record.

She has since launched attacks on leadership contenders Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch.

One Tory MP said: 'She must be laying the ground for a defection. That is the only way to explain what she's doing.'

Last week a newspaper quoted both Reform and Tory sources saying they expect her to cross the floor.
