A woman is in custody after shots were fired inside Portland International Airport.
The shooting took place Tuesday at the TSA checkpoint for Gates D and E, and consisted of at least three shots. A video posted to social media shows what appeared to be a handgun lying on the airport's floor.
It happened at about 11pm, and different footage from another scared traveler showed the unnamed suspect being arrested and led into a cop car outside.
Police have yet to say what led up to the incident, but both officers and officials Wednesday confirmed shots were fired.
Posts from people at the scene showed much of the same, conveying the brief panic amongst travelers as several hid and took shelter. Thankfully, no one was injured, but an investigation remains ongoing.
