Taylor Auerbach: Bombshell twist in topless photo drama between ex-model Tziporah Malkah and the Channel Seven insider at the centre of Bruce Lehrmann's defamation suit as new complaint to cops emerges

7 months ago 49

The sacked Channel Seven producer who admitted to circulating a topless photo of Tziporah Malkah to media once made a complaint against the former model alleging she posted 'distressing' images of him without his consent.

Taylor Auerbach, 31, lodged the complaint four years ago accusing Ms Malkah of posting 'highly intimate' photos and information about him on social media, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

The photos were allegedly taken on December 24, 2019, in Ms Malkah's Kings Cross apartment.

Mr Auerbach claimed that about 24 hours after visiting her apartment, Ms Malkah posted 'an intimate image ... without my consent or knowledge' on Instagram and Facebook and then also shared a 'damaging' video.

The sacked Spotlight producer, Taylor Auerbach (pictured), filed a complaint against Tziporah Malkah after she allegedly posted intimate images of him online in 2019

He lodged an official complaint with the eSafety Commissioner on December 27, 2019.

'I have since managed to get the image taken down. However, the person has uploaded another separate video of herself on Facebook detailing highly intimate and sexual information about me and also invading my privacy by listing my name, age, occupation and place of employment,' Mr Auerbach's complaint said.

'It is not only harassing but false and defamatory and highly distressing and damaging to me.'

Mr Auerbach also indicated in his complaint that he did not want action taken against the former model as he felt she was 'so fragile/volatile'.

Referencing the saga when speaking to The Daily Telegraph in January 2020, Ms Malkah said the pair had gotten together and that she had taken some pictures - which he wasn't happy about it.

'Yes, Taylor and I had a brief one-night thing. We had been acquainted for a while prior to that because he had been chasing me for a story,' she said.

'He asked me to take them down which I did. He obviously didn’t want anyone knowing we got together. And to be honest, I never heard from him again after that. Which is a bit bewildering.'

Last week, Mr Auerbach, 31, dragged Ms Malkah into the Bruce Lehrmann defamation suit against Network Ten, when he was questioned about his 'hatred' for his former friend and colleague Steve Jackson.

His explosive 2,300-page affidavit alleged the Seven Network covered the cost of lavish dinners, cocaine and Thai prostitutes for Mr Lehrmann.

The trial also heard details about Mr Auerbach's briefing campaign against Mr Jackson's appointment to the role of chief spin doctor for NSW Police commissioner Karen Webb last month.

Part of that campaign involved sharing topless images of Ms Malkah taken during an interview she gave to Mr Jackson and Mr Auerbach at her home.

Mr Auerbach, whose explosive 2,300-page affidavit alleged the Seven network covered the cost of lavish dinners, cocaine and Thai prostitutes for Mr Lehrmann, waged a vicious briefing campaign against Steve Jackson's appointment to the role of chief spin doctor for NSW Police commissioner Karen Webb last month (the former friends and colleagues are pictured together)

Mr Auerbach admitted in open court on Wednesday that he had shared the images without Ms Malkah's consent.

It has since been revealed that the model formerly known as Kate Fischer has filed a police report about the images.

'An individual with whom I was once vaguely acquainted, has decided to use images of me in his personal vendetta against a former male friend and colleague of his,' Ms Malkah told The Sunday Telegraph.

'I believed that it was my duty to immediately report this activity to the police.

'The experience is deeply personal, hurtful, frightening and degrading.

'I am very angry and hurt that I was made an unwilling accomplice to a man's vindictive, spiteful vendetta against an erstwhile friend of his.'

Ms Malkah previously told the newspaper that she had been 'at her lowest ebb' when the pictures were taken on Christmas Eve in 2019.

The one-time fiancée of billionaire James Packer had met Mr Auerbach and Mr Jackson at a pub that day to discuss a story about one of her properties.

The trio went back to Ms Malkah's Elizabeth Bay address where she later took her top off and was pictured sitting on her sofa alongside Mr Jackson.

The images were circulated to journalists last month.

Mr Lehrmann's barrister Matthew Richardson asked Mr Auerbach if he had been involved in the distribution of semi-naked photographs of a woman sitting on a couch with Mr Jackson.

'Is that true?' Mr Richardson asked.

'Yes, sir,'' Mr Auerbach replied.

The barrister then said to Mr Auerbach: 'So you sent those photographs to media organisations didn't you?'

'You did not obtain the consent of the woman in question to do this. Did you know you were aware that it was a criminal act to send photographs… to third parties without consent?

'No,' Mr Auerbach responded.

It is not the first time Ms Malkah has been the alleged victim of revenge porn.

A man she knew leaked a naked video to television networks in May 2018.

The 90s star said her naked body had hardly been blurred by the television stations airing the footage without her consent.

'Shock, betrayal, humiliation... how could this be happening? This can't be real. How could this be legal?' she told a court in 2022.
