Eagle-eyed Taylor Swift quickly spotted a technical glitch during her most recent show, whilst other unhappy VIPs were stuck behind a tent in the downpour.

Taylor Swift hailed the commitment of thousands of fans who braved the rain to watch her perform the first of three gigs at Anfield Stadium for the 100th show of her Eras Tour.

The American superstar performed in front of a 53,000-strong crowd at the Liverpool FC stadium - breaking the all-time attendance record for the arena.

But certain fans were left briefly disgruntled after paying £660 on VIP tickets to sit behind a white tent - blocking a large portion of their view of Taylor.

And poor VIP seat placements weren't the only mishap of the night as the huge screen showcasing Taylor's performance momentarily switched off.

The brief screen blackout has left several fans believing a huge announcement is on the horizon - as the American superstar is famed for her Easter egg hints

However some sleuthing Swifties are remaining hopeful that the technical glitch - which occurred as she performed her hit-song Mastermind - signals a huge announcement on the horizon.

The landmark show did not have a surprise guest or special announcement - but fans believe the screen blackout is an Easter egg - a tactic Swift is notorious for doing.

In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) by a fan account, the international sensation can be seen crooning Mastermind whilst the screen remains in darkness, only returning when she begins singing Karma.

Fans flooded the comments, convinced the timing was intentional, as the lyrics of Mastermind allude to Taylor Swift calculating every move and nothing being accidental.

Some of the lyrics include: 'What if I told you none of it was accidental?' as well as 'What if I told you I'm a mastermind?'

The tweet has already amassed more than 16,000 likes and 588,000 views, with music fans questioning what the superstar had planned

'It was on PURPOSE,' one exclaimed, while another chimed: 'REP TV IS COMINGGGG.'

'The timing seems so perfect that it feels like it could be an Easter egg, but also would she do that?

The technical glitch happened as Taylor Swift performed Mastermind - singing how nothing is accidental

Taylor Swift fan Zella - who paid £660 to sit in VIP was left unhappy after her view was blocked by a tent

'Like it could’ve literally just been a technical difficulty and would she go as far to take away from the visuals for an Easter egg??? Idk about this one.'

'So I told you none of it was accidental,' another joked.

'The screen turned black during MASTERMIND?? interesting,' one fan speculated.

While many Swifties were reeling with excitement about a possible surprise from the star - others were left frustrated with their poor view of the concert.

Posting a video, which quickly amassed over half a million views, Zella complained about her obstructed view after spending an eye-watering £660 on VIP seats.

'Paid £660 for VIP seats and this is our view. We asked and they won't move us,' she penned.

'Actually going to cry.'

However the duo were not disappointed as they were moved to even better seats so they could see their idol in action (pictured: Zella and a friend)

Fellow Taylor Swift supporters advised her to ask again, claiming she would have to be moved if she did not have restricted view tickets.

According to Zella, she had already made the attempt however the entire show was sold out meaning there was nowhere to move her to.

But all ended well for the super fan as she revealed she and a friend were given even better seats - so they could clearly see the superstar in action.

'Thank you to everyone for the support and kindness! We had an amazing time in the end,' she shared.
