Teenage golf star Asterisk Talley hilariously revealed she had homework due after securing a T-11 position at the US Women's Open.
After cards of 70-71, the 15-year-old joked about having schoolwork due on Friday. She later shared that she hopes to ask for extensions after the competition.
'I have a bunch, and it's all due today,' she said with a smile. 'That's probably not gonna get done today. But I feel like I can kind of fluctuate with the due date. '
'Even though they (teachers) were like 'no exceptions,'' she continued. 'But you know, I'm gonna make them have exceptions.'
Having to balance her golf career with her studies, Talley added that her teachers tend to give her more flexibility with her deadlines.

The teenager finished fifth overall after the first round and slid down to T-11 after the second
'My teachers are super cool with how much I miss school,' she shared. 'They always follow me and say: 'Oh, I'm gonna tune in on the TV,' and I'm just like: 'Okay, cool.''
In the same segment, Talley shared that she's taken part in chipping contests with Bryson DeChambeau - and beat the eight-time PGA Tour winner.
'Where I go for coaching, they have signs out there, and you hit the signs like most ranges,' Talley said. 'It would always be like 'who could hit the most' in the least amount of balls.
'When I would let everyone would be cheering me on, everyone was just against him at all times. I was like: 'It's not that serious,'' she said laughing.
Her age aside, Talley impressed as an amateur near the top of the leaderboard when she finished tied for fifth after Round 1. After shooting 1 over in Round 2, she fell to an 11th-place tie.

Talley admitted that she sets the bar high for herself to help her 'play better golf'
The high schooler qualified for the US Open by going 5 under at the San Joaquin Country Club in Fresno, California, on May 6.
'I had a couple of goals,' she said when asked about her expectations ahead of the tournament. 'First, I just wanted to make the cut.'
'Setting the bar high for myself helps me play better golf because if I expect the best out of myself and I don't meet that, I'm still doing okay. I feel like that's worked for me.'
