Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine's ex-girlfriend Yailin La Mas Viral allegedly attacked him with a 2x4 and was arrested by authorities on Thursday night.
Viral's arrest followed an incident at 6ix9ine's Miami home, and she now faces aggravated battery, witness tampering and felony criminal mischief charges.
6ix9ine told the police officers that he had been arguing with Viral all day prior to her attacking him and his car.
Viral also allegedly pulled his hair in an incident that was captured on the rapper's cellphone, and he eventually posted even more footage on his Instagram.
The rapper shared several videos depicting Viral hitting 6ix9ine, attacking him with two blunt objects, kicking his car, and eventually being placed in handcuffs.

The rapper first posted the videos on his Instagram Story that also show Viral yelling, kicking his car, and being placed in handcuffs
'For all the people who are talking s***, this is the United States of America, men here if they hit a woman, they go to jail,' the rapper wrote.
Revealing that his posts 'aren't just show-offs,' he said he had no desire to be portrayed as the 'bad guy' anymore.
In a 20-minute-long video in Spanish, he said, 'I'm on probation, I would never lay my hands on a woman. I'm not here to create gossip, I'm here to clear my name and ask that this matter be dealt with responsibly.'
6ix9ine also suggested that postpartum depression may be playing a role as to why Viral is abusive.

6ix9ine posted the videos on his Instagram in response to several statements made by Dominican radio host Santiago Matias, who has accused the rapper of abusing Viral

Matias' accusations came after images of Viral with bruises and cuts on her face began circulating on the internet.
Viral said that she was in a car accident, which resulted in her injuries, and was not assaulted.
The radio host has continued to accuse 6ix9ine of being an abuser, and the rapper responded to Matias' accusations right before he posted the videos last night.
Viral had done other things besides attack 6ix9ine with blunt objects that night and was eventually placed in handcuffs after the entire ordeal
The two had been a rumored item since last June and had been involved in a feud with Viral's ex-husband Anuel AA
'Santiago Matias, you are a creeping coward, all this time I stayed silent to protect Yailin,' 6ix9ine wrote.
'Something that you will never be a sound engineer - everything for you is networks, number views, what a garbage person - Yailin needs help and you take advantage of that,' he added.
6ix9ine also accused Matias of using a mentally ill Viral for his live show.
'@alofoke What's wrong with this, is this for your campaign?' he asked.
