The European Parliament concluded its legislative work on 25 April after five years of intense policymaking.
Often regarded as the weaker link in EU policymaking, subdued to the EU countries’ will and the Commission’s agenda, the Parliament is often battling tooth and nail to reassert its power and scrutinising role.
