Thomas Muller has left a good luck message to England captain Harry Kane at the Three Lions training base for the European Championships in Germany.

Kane and Muller have been team-mates at club level this season, with the England forward moving to Bayern Munich from Tottenham for £100m.

The forwards will be on opposite sides this summer with hosts Germany and England among the pre-tournament favourites.

Julian Nagelsmann's side started the preparations at the Weimarer Land Spa and Golf Resort near the town of Blankenhain.

Germany have now moved onto their Euros base at Herzogenaurach, the home of adidas.

Germany have spent five days in Blankenhain but have made way ahead of England's arrival

A video released by the German national team showed Muller writing a message for Kane, which he will receive on his arrival with England in the coming days.

'Hey England, what‘s up Harry Kane. We just finished our five days in your future team basecamp here in Thuringia,' the German national team wrote on Instagram.

‘Great conditions, very friendly people, and sometimes it‘s even raining, sounds perfect, right?

‘Have a good time here in Germany! See you at the Euros!’

The training base boasts three golf courses and a padel court, as well as a robot called Robbie to serve the players and collect their dishes.

Two Michelin-star restaurants are included at the resort, which also boasts a 2,500-square-metre spa known as the 'Lindentherme'.

Mail Sport reported last month that England manager Gareth Southgate gave green light for England officials to negotiate a deal for exclusive use of the Weimarer Land Spa and Golf Resort during the tournament.

The final contract – estimated to be worth about £850,000 – was finalised within a matter of weeks, beating competition from Ronald Koeman's Holland and Ralf Rangnick's Austria.

England have exclusive access to all 94 rooms, usually priced at £300 a night, of which 15 are suites.

The three best suites having golf-themed names like Albatross, Birdie and Eagle, each of which includes a private sauna and a free-standing bath tub. Southgate will likely occupy one of these suites.

Rooms will have their own special touches with personal accessories and mementos from their families, and England are going as far as taking their own high quality bed-linen and personalised Three Lions bath robes with embroidered badges.

The training base is set to undergo a complete transformation ahead of the tournament with England branding installed across the site.

In order to help make the Three Lions feel as at home as possible the smell from St George's Park will also be transported to the hotel complex

The Three Lions face Bosnia & Herzegovina and Iceland in friendlies on June 3 and 7.

England's friendly against Iceland at Wembley will be their final send off ahead of the Euros in Germany.
