UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has been honoured with a mural in his hometown ahead of UFC 304 - but he's not completely happy with it!
Aspinall will return to the Octagon for the first time in 2024 to face the only man to beat him in the UFC when he takes on Curtis Blaydes on Saturday night in Manchester.
Blaydes won their first first in July 2022 when Aspinall suffered a serious knee injury in the first round, but he will get a chance to exact revenge almost two years to the day since that loss.
Aspinall has won two fights since returning from injury to pick up the UFC interim belt and he is now a bigger name than ever in the sport. A mural has been dedicated to him in his hometown of Atherton, Greater Manchester, but after going to see it in the first episode of UFC 304 Embedded, Aspinall was taken aback by one key detail.
'I thought my arms were bigger than that in real life,' a perplexed Aspinall said. 'I thought I had quite decent arms.'

Aspinall will get the chance to exact revenge on Curtis Blaydes this weekend after suffering a serious knee injury when facing the American two years ago
He quickly got over his disappointment, though, as he looked ahead to Saturday night.
'This is the perfect fight for me, it couldn't have worked out any better. Rematch, hometown, 20 minutes down the road, Manchester fans. This is going to be incredible. It's going to be a great time'.
Fellow Brit Paddy Pimblett has his own acid test further down the card when he takes on American Bobby Green.
Pimblett is unbeaten in the UFC but has fought just once since December 2022 and is looking to build some momentum in his career.
The 29-year-old from Liverpool has gained a reputation for enjoying his life away from the Octagon and ballooning up in weight, and he already has one eye on how he's going to treat himself once his fight is out the way this weekend.
'Last time that we fought I didn't leave the venue until I got my interviews after everyone had finished,' Pimblett revealed.
'So this time, I want a big burger and chips waiting for me in the changing rooms after I've f***ing battered Bobby Green.'

Green is a UFC veteran who has fought some of the sport's biggest names including Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier, and looks set to be Pimblett's biggest test to date.
But the big-talking Brit is adamant he will beat Green in emphatic fashion, and warned his opponent that he will make him pay for calling him out over the last two years.
'I can't wait. Bobby's been talking about me since 2022 so it's going to be nice to put hands on his chin and shut him the f*** up,' Pimblett added.
