Fans are predicting a potential feud between Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage on I'm A Celebrity after unearthing a Twitter spat between the two from last year.

The former boxer was plunged into the Australian wilderness on Thursday night and will cross paths with the ex-UKIP leader in camp.

In 2022 Bellew called out Farage on Twitter after he posted a video about London, Manchester and Birmingham being 'minority white cities' - as he labelled the politician a 'maniac' whose actions mean 'racism still exists'.

Bellew was inducted into tropical life alongside Frankie Dettori in a Bushtucker Trial that saw pig testicles hanging out of his mouth.

The two newcomers had to carry the sweet treats in their mouths across an obstacle course, with Dettori coming out on top - but at what cost to his taste buds?

Tony Bellew will come face-to-face with Nigel Farage in the jungle - ideally without pigs' testicles in his mouth - after their 2022 Twitter spat

Farage posted a video online last year suggesting there was a 'scandal' with the ONS, according to him, concealing the number of people born outside the UK living in it

Bellew hit back, calling him a 'maniac' and arguing that people like him are why racism exists

However, viewers will be on tenterhooks to see if Bellew comes to verbal blows with Farage.

In 2022, Farage posted a video on Twitter, now X, claiming: 'There is a massive change in the identity of this country that is taking place through immigration.

'But here's the real point of this. The ONS now say in future, they will not ask of the nationality or birthplace of those taking part in this census. One in six in England and Wales are already born outside the UK. In future, they want to hide the true figures from you. It's a scandal.'

Bellew took aim at Farage, replying: 'Why does someone’s colour matter? Who cares if you're white, black, yellow or pink? All that matters is are they good or no good people!

'Learn to see people for who they are and not what they look like! It’s because of people like you that racism still exists! Absolute maniac you are!'

'Tony Bellew vs Nigel Farage is a fight we all want to see!!' wrote one user on X, formerly Twitter.

'Tony Bellew vs Nigel Farage for the next 2.5 weeks,' wrote another with a popcorn emoji, suggesting they'd be kicking back to watch the feud.

'Tomny Bellew and Nigel Farage is something I need to see tbf,' another said.

Fred Siriex has already confronted the GB News host over Brexit, calling his campaign 'shameful'.

Farage is being paid around £1.5million for his presence in the jungle and has already been voted to go through its troubles by the public

Explaining his decision to enter the competition, Bellew said: 'I’m going into the jungle because it’s a challenge and I love a challenge. I’m a serial winner, I hate to lose.

'I’m not going to give in. I've faced many different things in my life and now the jungle is next, let’s see what you’ve got for me.'

The campmates have been divided into two teams, with Bellew and Dettori leading each one, to undergo various challengers over the next few days.

Farage is believed to be earning a bumper £1.5million for his appearance on the ITV series.

He has already thrown himself into jungle life.

The Brexiteer gagged as he was forced to tuck into a sheep's udder and cow's teat while taking a trip to the jungle pizzeria alongside TikTok producer Nella Rose.

They were invited to sit at a table for two in the first Bushtucker Trial, which was voted for by members of the public.
