Toowoomba, Queensland: Three killed, including two children, another fighting for life after horror crash

Three people, including two children, have been killed in a horror crash. 

A ute and a sedan collided on Dalby-Jandowae Road at Jimbour East, northwest of Toowoomba in Queensland's Western Downs region, at about 10.50am on Monday.

Five people were assessed at the scene, four with life-threatening injuries. 

Queensland Police have confirmed that three of the four people have died, including two children and a man who were all travelling in the sedan. 

A woman who was also an occupant in the sedan has been airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The sole occupant of the ute was taken to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. 

Drivers have been asked to avoid the area with the road to remain closed for several hours on Monday as investigations continue.
