Spurs beat Hearts 5-1 in the pre-season friendly but failed to keep a clean sheet after Emerson's mistake provided Lawrence Shankland with a golden opportunity.
The 25-year-old Brazilian defender received on the right-hand-side of the pitch before being closed down by his opposite number.
Emerson cut back before trying to play the ball in-field. However, his pass was intercepted around the 18 yard box.

To make matters worse, Tottenham were only leading 1-0 at the point of the goal - meaning Emerson's mistakes allowed Shankland to level the scores.
Fans were furious with Emerson's decision making and called for Tottenham to sell the 25-year-old defender during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham rejected an opening 10m euros (£8.4million) bid from AC Milan for Emerson, which fans feel was the wrong decision.
The Italian side approached Tottenham with a verbal and then written offer. However, their proposed deal was rejected as Spurs wanted double for the defender.
AC Milan are yet to return to the table with a higher bid. While Borussia Dortmund and clubs in Saudi Arabia are also said to be interested.
