Tottenham are reportedly set to release club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele, after a disappointing spell at the North London club.
Ndombele joined Spurs in the summer of 2019, as one of then-manager Mauricio Pochettino's top targets, for a record fee of £65million, but the midfielder has failed to live up to expectations.
The midfielder hasn't played for the club since January 2022, and has spent the last two seasons on-loan at first Napoli and then Galatasaray.
Since moving to the club from French giants Lyon, he has played just 91 times, scoring 10 goals, but has fallen out of favour with several managers.
According to the Evening Standard, the north London side are now ready to cut their losses entirely and let the Frenchman leave on a free - despite having a year left on his current deal.

He was last seen in a Spurs shirt under a brief reprieve during Antonio Conte's rein. However, it ended on a sour note when the Frenchman stormed down the tunnel after being substituted during an FA Cup win over Morecambe.
Ironically, in his time away from the club on two loan spells, the 27-year-old has enjoyed back-to-back title success.
He played 30 times for Napoli in 2022-23 as the side scooped their first Serie A title in over thirty years, and was part of the Galatasaray squad that have just claimed the Turkish championship.
Despite claiming league titles in consecutive seasons, neither Napoli or Galatasaray were keen to sign him on a permanent deal.
Across his five years at Spurs, Ndombele failed to make a mark during his time with Tottenham despite the hefty fee the club paid to land the midfielder.
Since splashing out on Ndombele, Spurs have come close to matching the fee with the £60 million they paid for Richarlison in 2022.

Ryan Sessegnon will leave the club in the summer, along with Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic
Ndombele will join a slew of Tottenham stars that the club announced will be leaving this club earlier this week.
Ryan Sessegnon will leave the club upon the expiration of his contract, along with Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic and Japhet Tanganga.
Perisic and Dier are likely to complete permanent moves to Hadjuk Split and Bayern Munich respectively, while Millwall are pushing to recruit Tangagna following a loan spell at The Den last season.
