Micky van de Ven was the quickest player in the Premier League this season with a top speed of 23.23 miles per hour.
It's no secret that the Tottenham centre-back has pace to burn and his recovery runs have bailed out his team multiple times this season.
In fact, his top speed is the highest since the data started being collected in 2020-21.
He is just one of 11 men lucky enough to be featured in Squawka's 'top speed XI' for the 2023-24 Premier League season.
In that line-up, 11 clubs are represented and while there are some nailed-on candidates, there are also a few surprises.
The Premier League's fastest XI has been revealed by Squawka... but who makes up the 11?
Micky van de Ven has the fastest top speed in Premier League history at 23.23mph
Few will be surprised to see Anthony Gordon in the team if they have witnessed his counter-attacking prowess at Newcastle
Nobody will be surprised to see Anthony Gordon and Anthony Elanga bombing up and down the wings in this team of speed merchants.
They recorded top speeds of 22.8mph and 22.93mph respectively, enough to strike fear into the heart of hapless Sunday league defenders, but not enough to trouble the backline in this squad much.
That's because alongside Van de Ven, Bournemouth's Illia Zabarnyi is faster than both of them at 22.95mph, while Burnley's Dara O'Shea zooms along at a maximum of 22.82mph. He might be in Sunday league soon the way the Clarets played this year.
That means there is no room in the defence for Kyle Walker, who is often regarded as the league's quickest player.
In goal, the ultimate sweeper-keeper is Chelsea's Robert Sanchez, who can manage 21.82mph when he isn't warming the bench.
Moving up to midfield, we have Jakub Moder of Brighton and Amadou Onana from Everton.
These mobile movers clocked top sprints at 22.9mph and 22.78mph, meaning this team would be good box-to-box on the counter-attack.
Out wide to the right we have Chiedozie Ogbene, another speedster who will need a move if he is to play Premier League football next season. Luton's whippet-winger managed 22.95mph, joint-second-fastest in the league with Zabarnyi.
Chelsea's Robert Sanchez is the sweeper-keeper you want with a top speed of 21.82mph
Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai clocked a top speed of 22.84mph in his debut Anfield season
On the left, Pedro Neto. The Wolves man fizzed along at 22.9mph at some point this season. Good for him.
And then, inexplicably, to finish off this slightly odd formation there is no striker. At a push he could be a false nine, but attacking midfield is more his gig.
It's Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai, who gave Jurgen Klopp something to smile about at 22.84mph one time this campaign.
If you want an interesting stat, even if Van de Ven, the fastest of the crop, ran at his top speed for 100 metres, he still wouldn't beat Usain Bolt's record.
The Dutchman's 23.24mph would be good for 9.62 seconds over 100m, shy of Bolt's 9.58s, with the Jamaican clocking a top speed of 27.33mph.
The Premier League's 'top speed XI', as revealed by Squawka, represents 11 different teams
