Tottenham are reportedly eyeing England U21 international Samuel Iling-Junior as they seek to strengthen their weakened squad in the January window.

Ange Postecoglou's brilliant start to life at the club came to a crashing halt last week with a 4-1 loss at home to Chelsea followed by a last minute defeat at Wolves.

The north London club also suffered big blows in terms of their depth with James Maddison and Micky van de Ven joining Richarlison for lengthy spells on the sidelines.

Spurs will need to respond in the window and Juventus starlet Iling-Junior has caught their eye, according to The Independent.

The 20-year-old, a youth product of Chelsea, joined Juve three years ago after attracting interest from a host of European clubs.

He broke into the first team last season and has featured in four Serie A matches so far this term.

His versatlity is believed to be of particular interest to the depleted Tottenham, who have a good relationship with Juventus.

Iling-Junior has represented England at youth level for five years and was part of the side that lifted the U19 European Championship last year.
