Tramaine Williams has reportedly been 'discharged from hospital' after he appeared to 'suffer a seizure' during his Team Combat League (TCL) fight against Ryan Allen on Thursday night.

The featherweight boxer was competing for NYC Attitude at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California, where the scary scenes unfolded.

The fight began but just minutes into the first round, Williams appeared to freeze before falling to the canvas.

Allen had not landed a punch on his American opponent before he fell to the ground with Williams, 31, appearing to have a 'seizure'.

The referee quickly stepped in to wave the fight off and called for immediate medical attention. Allen, meanwhile, was also stunned by the incident and stepped back away from Williams who was subsequently taken to hospital.

Williams posted a message on Instagram telling his fans that he was 'good' and that the doctor had told him he was 'too dehydrated'

Thankfully, Williams has now, according to boxing journalist Michael Benson, been discharged from hospital.

'Tramaine Williams has now been discharged from hospital after seemingly suffering a seizure and collapsing midway through his fight overnight, his team have confirmed.'

Reassuringly, Williams took to Instagram to confirm that he was OK after the scary incident.

He wrote in an Instagram story: 'I'm good, the doctor said I was too dehydrated. I'm good though.'

Williams has a professional record of 20-2-0, with the Connecticut-born fighter having won three and lost two of his past five bouts.

In 2020 he would challenge Angelo Leo for his WBO junior featherweight title, but would suffer a defeat.

The TCL is a unique boxing competition that sees fighters in different weight divisions compete as a team over 18 rounds.

The fighters interchange as they box and accumulate a combined points total by the end of the bout.

Despite Williams' collapsing, the fight between Las Vegas Hustle and NYC Attitude continued, with Attitude claiming a 172/166 victory.
