With less than a month to go until January, football clubs across the land are locked in discussions about who to bring in.

Whether the Saudi Pro League will make moves for more top stars is one of the talking points, as is the fate of rumoured returners, such as Ruben Neves.

Chelsea and Arsenal are both looking to bring in strikers but today's Transfer Gossip column looks at reports suggesting they could be left frustrated in their primary pursuits.

In managerial news, Real Madrid are keen on making Xabi Alonso their next manager when Carlo Ancelotti leaves, but that's little surprise given his flying form at Bayer Leverkusen.

Mail Sport rounds up ten transfer rumours to keep you in the know this Sunday morning.
