Che Adams joins Serie A side Torino

Che Adams has left the south coast.

Last year, Adams came extremely close to exiting the door at Southampton, with moves to Everton and Wolves close, but he ended up staying.

Well now his time at the club is at its end, he has joined Italian club Torino on a three-year deal.

A big move for the striker!

The Serie A outfit confirmed the free transfer on Tuesday morning, with Adams leaving St Mary's after five years on the south coast.

Arsenal eyeing swap deal?

Across London, Chelsea's rivals Arsenal are also looking to offload some of their talent.

Eddie Nketiah struggled for game time at the Gunners last season, falling behind Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus in the pecking order up top.

And it seems Mikel Arteta is prepared to let him go.

It is being reported that Arsenal are willing to offer Nketiah to Crystal Palace in part of a swap deal to acquire Marc Guehi.

Guehi is a wanted man, that's for sure.

Chelsea's defensive options

So, why would Chelsea want to let Trevoh Chalobah go?

It's probably due to the fact they have tons of centre-backs at their disposal. They just need to let one go.

Let's have a look at their centre-back options:

  • Levi Colwill
  • Benoit Badiashile
  • Axel Disasi
  • Wesley Fofana
  • Tosin Adarabioyo
  • Malang Sarr
  • Trevoh Chalobah

What next for Chalobah?

Now the question is, where does Trevoh Chalobah go?

The last couple of seasons have been a bit of a rollercoaster for him due to injury.

But at the back end of the last campaign, he started to show signs of his former self again. The ability is certainly still there.

With his days at Chelsea seemingly coming to an end, what clubs will be sniffing around him?

Surely, there will be some top sides interested.

Chelsea leave Trevoh Chalobah OUT of their squad for US pre-season tour

If this isn't a sign, I don't know what is.

Trevoh Chalobah's time at Chelsea is surely coming to an end after he was left out of the club's pre-season tour to the US.

I mean, that's got to hurt, hasn't it?

If Chalobah was in Enzo Maresca's plans then he would have been on that plane.

Chalobah, despite taking part in Enzo Maresca's training sessions this summer, is said to have been told to stay at home in a shock snub, leaving his future uncertain.
