Jason and Travis Kelce will pause their award-winning podcast for two months as the Chiefs star heads into training camp for the new season.

Since launching New Heights in September 2022, the brothers have provided a weekly digest of their lives on and off the field.

It has snowballed into a hugely popular show, with New Heights being named podcast of the year at the iHeartPodcast Awards back in March.

Jason has now retired from football after a Hall of Fame career with the Philadelphia Eagles. But 34-year-old Travis recently signed a new deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He will soon step up his preparations for the 2024 season and those commitments with the Super Bowl champions mean that the show will take a backseat.

Tight end Travis, 34, will soon step up preparations for the new NFL season with the Chiefs

'We have a nice couple of months off from podcasting because in three weeks' time, Travis will be in the middle of training camp,' Jason announced on Wednesday's episode.

'And let me tell you, there's not enough time to do a podcast, especially the best podcast in the world.

'He's going to be busy, focusing on football, getting in shape for this upcoming season. So we're going to be off for about two months.'

The brothers last year took a shorter break between the end of July and August 31 as they both prepared for the 2023 campaign.

They are slated to kick-off season three of New Heights towards the end of August once again - but neither they nor their producer had nailed down an exact date. 'I'm down to pick it back up once we're done with training camp,' Travis said.
