Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly reached an agreement on a new two-year extension that will make him the highest-paid tight end in football.
The exact figures have not been released, but Kelce earned $14 million last year after signing a four-year, $57 million deal before the 2023 season. Kelce’s friend and Super Bowl LVIII rival George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers currently has the largest contract of any tight end at $75 million. However, New York Giants tight end Darren Waller has the highest average annual salary at $17 million, while Minnesota’s TJ Hockenson has the most guaranteed money in his deal at $40 million.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported the news, which has yet to be confirmed by the team.
Kelce's agent Mike Simon did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for confirmation.
One person who did confirm the news was Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes, who wrote on X: 'I told yall I’ll never let him leave!! Congrats my guy! @tkelce.'
