Travis Kelce has aimed a subtle dig at Aaron Rodgers over his weekly appearances on The Pat McAfee Show, joking that Tuesdays are now 'game days' for the injured New York Jets quarterback.
Rodgers has swiped at Kelce on a number of occasions over the past month, jokingly dubbing the Kansas City Chiefs star 'Mr Pfizer' over his links to the pharmaceutical company.
The four-time NFL MVP - who is openly anti-vaxx - even challenged him to a debate on the Covid-19 vaccine while making one of his appearances on McAfee's show.
'I thought it was pretty good,' Kelce said about his new nickname. 'With the mustache, I look like someone named Mr Pfizer.
'Who knew I'd get into vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man?'

Yet after initially laughing off the joke, Kelce has now fired shots at Rodgers by describing his Tuesday appearances on The Pat McAfee Show as 'game day'.
He said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal: 'Aaron’s always been cool to me. I knew he was trying to have some fun.
'He’s in a situation where Tuesdays are his game days…. So I get it, man, I’ve been injured too…. Who knows what the guy is going through?'
Rodgers has been out of action since tearing his Achilles after just four snaps of his debut for the Jets back in September.
However, there is hope that the 39-year-old could be back on the field a lot sooner than expected, with December being mooted as a potential return date.
Despite differing views on vaccination, there otherwise seems to be friendliness - or at least respect - between Rodgers and Kelce.
The two were seen in conversation at the Chiefs - Jets game on October 1, where Kelce told Rodgers he was sad to see him injured.
'I didn't shoot him a text or anything like that (when he got hurt) so just wanted to go up to him and tell him how excited I was and how bummed out we were he got banged up and needed to get surgery,' Kelce said on his New Heights podcast.

'Watching (the HBO docuseries) Hard Knocks, it was electric to see what Aaron Rodgers was going to do with that team. Not to say they are not going to be great but having Aaron there was going to be more entertaining for fans of the game, like I am.
'You hate to see the great ones go down with injury. I went up to him to tell him we were all hurting for him and hopefully he gets healthy quickly.'
Kelce also opened up on his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift in the interview with The Wall Street Journal, describing his new girlfriend as 'hilarious'.
