Machine Gun Kelly has offered Travis Kelce $500,000 cash - as well as daily deliveries of coffee and breakfast - if he 'comes home' and joins the Cleveland Browns.

The Kansas City Chiefs star grew up in Cleveland Heights, a suburb to the east of the city, and admits it was his 'original dream' to represent his hometown.

The tight end even revealed that, before being drafted by the Chiefs in 2013, he cried as he pleaded with then-Browns coach Rob Chudzinski to select him. 'Please let me f****** play for Cleveland,' Kelce sobbed.

Kelly - a rapper who went to high school not far from the Kelce brothers - joined Travis and Jason on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast.

'I'm sure you get asked this question behind closed doors a lot,' he said to Travis, prompting the tight end to mutter: 'Oh s****...'

'But I would remiss due to the nature of our friendship - and just as a Clevelander - if I did not insert this question personally: I will give you $500,000 - cash upon arrival, just for shopping or whatever you want - as well as matching that same amount as a donation to both of our high schools.

'Both Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights, as well as every day breakfast and coffee deliveries from my restaurant if you would just come home and put on these colors right here.'

The offer had both Travis and Jason Kelce in hysterics before the Chiefs star said: 'You know that was the original dream... I tell you what: that is an intriguing offer because you know how much we love the east side of Cleveland - Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights.'

But Kelce added: 'I'm not going to lie: the situation is pretty good in Kansas City... Chiefs Kingdom, you know I love playing for the Kingdom baby. I don't think I'll ever play anywhere else but Cleveland was always the dream growing up - that's for damn sure.

'Being a sports fan in Cleveland, you can't not dream of playing for all three of the Cleveland sports teams.'

'I'm not going to lie: the situation is pretty good in Kansas City,' the Chiefs star responded

When Kelly offered to meet him on arrival with a briefcase of cash, the tight end continued. 'That s*** is legendary man. That was the original dream though.

'When they brought the team back, I think I cried in Coach Chudzinski's face when I was getting drafted: "Please let me f****** play for Cleveland". It was one of my dreams to play for the Browns.'

Kelce later revealed that, in the coach's office during a pre-draft visit to the Browns,  he cried in front of both Chudzinski and current Dolphins TE coach Jon Embree.

'Please let me... I will put my heart on the line for this city,' he recalled telling them. 'Which is probably why they didn't draft me: "This kid is way too soft... he is a mess right now."'

Kelly even offered to make music in the Browns locker room every day if it helped persuade Kelce to 'come home'. 'There is no decision that needs to be made right now but just know that my offer is real, it's on the table,' he added.

'I'll consider it if Jason considers it too though because I know at one point it was the Browns for him too,' Kelce responded.
