Two of Souths' famous Burgess brothers were allegedly involved in a feisty exchange during South Sydney's match against the Warriors at Accor Stadium on Saturday.
Footy reporter Danny Weidler said eldest brother Luke and retired NRL star George were invited to Hollywood superstar Russell Crowe's private box to watch the round five fixture.
However, the brothers reportedly showed up with three friends who were not on the invite list.
'There was a bit of a dispute,' Weidler said on Nine's 100% Footy.
'They were criticised by the Souths official for bringing three extra people into Russell Crowe's box.

Luke and Tom Burgess were reportedly involved in a clash with officials at the private box of Souths co-owner Russell Crowe (pictured, centre, with Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Goldblum at an NRL match in 2021)
'They were chastised about it and told they could cough up another $800 to have them there.
'The people they brought in were actually involved in Ramadan, they said they weren't eating or drinking, they were just there.'
As yet, there has been no response to Weilder's claims from the Burgess brothers or The Rabbitohs, but the journalist suggests fans might hear more about it in the coming days.
Luke Burgess first made his name in the UK with Leeds Rhinos in the English Super League, winning a title in 2009.
He then moved to Australia ahead of the 2011 NRL season, signing a deal alongside his three siblings - Sam as well as twins, George and Tom - at South Sydney Rabbitohs.
George Burgess played 149 games for South Sydney and won the premiership with the Rabbitohs in 2014 alongside his brothers Sam and Tom, as well as 15 caps for England.
He won a premiership with Cairns Brothers in 2023 before calling time on his footy career.
Tom Burgess - the twin brother of George - is currently playing in his final season for the Rabbitohs.

He played in the 2014 grand final side with Souths alongside his brothers Sam and George and plans to finish his career in the UK with the Huddersfield Giants in 2025.
Souths legend Sam Burgess retired from footy due to a shoulder injury in 2019 after becoming arguably the best English forward to ever play in Australia.
Burgess continued coaching at the Bunnies, but left the club under a dark cloud last year amid an alleged dispute over the purported favourable treatment of star players Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker.
The footy great took his first top-flight coaching job over the off-season, with Super League side Warrington Wolves, and has found instant success.
