Dolphins star Tyreek Hill believes Miami's current team is better than the Kansas City Chiefs outfit he won the Super Bowl with in 2020.

During an appearance on CBS Sports' Champions League broadcast in Miami, Hill responded to a question from soccer legend Thierry Henry on whether he feels the Dolphins can go all the way to the Super Bowl this season.

And the wide receiver opted for a comparison with his former team when answering Henry, insisting the Dolphins are stronger than Kansas City's 2019-20 champions.

'Of course man, we got the perfect team to do it [win the Super Bowl],' Hill said.

'The way our head coach prepares us each and every week man, it's next level. And he keeps each and every one of his guys in tune with the game plan and how we keep attention to detail each and every week.

'So it's a beautiful thing to see the way we practice, the way we play for one another is something that I've never seen before in a team. I won a Super Bowl and I feel like this is probably the better team than when we won a Super Bowl back when I was on K.C.'

The Dolphins are currently sitting in first place in the AFC East with a 8-3 record and coincidentally suffered a 21-14 loss to the Chiefs when the two sides faced off in Germany several weeks ago.

Hill has been a major contributor to the Dolphins' strong record and has been putting up numbers at a historic pace this season.

He currently has 1,324 yards and 10 touchdowns on 88 receptions through 11 games.

Earlier this season he broke the NFL record that he set last year for being the quickest player to reach 1,000 receiving yards in a season.

Hill set the record after reaching the 1,000-yard mark in only eight games after previously setting the record last season and reaching the 1,000 mark in nine games.
