Tyreek Hill says he plans to cover the salary of the NFL cameraman suspended over his reaction to the Miami Dolphins star's backflip-selfie celebration last month.
After scoring a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers, Hill took a phone from Kevin Fitzgibbons on the sidelines and filmed himself performing a backflip in a celebration which quickly went viral on social media.
The video of his celebration was also posted on X by the NFL's official account before later being deleted.
One month on, Fitzgibbons revealed earlier this week that he has been suspended 'possibly for good' due to his animated reaction on the sidelines.
The 20-year-old, who has developed a close relationship with Hill after working with the Dolphins wide receiver for some time, said in a now-viral video on TikTok: '[The NFL] said regardless of if I knew the celebration was coming or not, I still had to be disciplined and that I shouldn't have jumped on the sidelines after the play.'

But Hill, who has developed a close relationship with the cameraman, insists he won't let his good friend go out of pocket
News of Fitzgibbons' suspension has sparked outrage, with NBA icon LeBron James branding the decision 'f***ed up'.
And while he hasn't spoken out against the NFL in similar fashion, Hill has pledged to make sure the cameraman isn't left out of pocket.
'Me and K-Fitz, we've got a long history together,' he said. 'The news is something that I already knew. I told him don't let this get to you. Just hold your head up. You're still young. Continue to do what you love. Me and him are going to continue to work together.
'I told him I was going to cover his salary, whatever the NFL was going to pay him or whatever. I told him I was going to make sure that I do what's right and take care of you, make sure you're not out of a job. That's my guy.'
In his TikTok video explaining the suspension, Fitzgibbons described Hill's viral moment in the game against the Panthers as 'one of the best moments of my life'.
'I get why the NFL had to make this decision and wish I could've done something to prevent it, but I'm thankful for the memory Tyreek gave me,' he said.
'This was the greatest job in the world and I never took a day for granted. I can't thank the NFL enough for the opportunity.
The Dolphins WR was penalized for the celebration on the day but did not receive a fine
'Whether its back with the NFL or starting a new sport, I just hope to get another chance at doing what I love.'
Despite being penalized for his celebration on the day, Hill was not fined over the backflip-selfie celebration.
Earlier in the season, the Dolphins receiver was fined $10,000 for flicking up a peace sign as he ran through into the end zone against the New York Giants.
