Tyron Woodley really wants a boxing match with legend Manny Pacquiao to take place - publicly calling his potential opponent out on Instagram.

Pacquiao has been retired since 2021, but has recently indicated that he'd like to get back into the ring.

Links to a bout with Woodley have been batted about with nothing concrete yet - leading to the American to ask if there's going to be a fight or not.

'@mannypacquiao we been f**king around with these numbers for two months,' Woodley asked on Instagram.

'Are we fighting or what? You acting like Floyd [Mayweather] and KSI! [Capitalizing] on Clout [facepalm emoji] SMH'.

Woodley is eager to get back in the ring for the first time since his two bouts in 2021

2021 is also the year that Pacquiao - the former eight-division world champion - retired

After losing his final four UFC bouts to Kamaru Usman, Gilbert Burns, Colby Covington, and Vicente Luque, Woodley turned his attention to boxing.

So far, he's only managed two pro boxing matches in his career. Both contests were in 2021; he faced Jake Paul in each of them and lost both times.

His first fight was a split decision after eight rounds - with one judge scoring the contest 77-75 in his favor, but two other judges scoring it 77-75 and 78-74 for Paul.

They had a rematch just a few months later when Woodley replaced Tommy Fury, who withdrew from a bout set for December of 2021.

In a much closer bout, Woodley was knocked out by Paul in the sixth round.

Pacquiao, the former eight-division world champion boxer, has been retired since 2021.

But he recently tried applying for an exemption to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

However, the 45-year-old was denied due to a rule from the International Olympic Committee that caps the age limit for boxers at 40.
