Tyson Fury took to the beach at Morecambe on Tuesday afternoon after footage emerged of the Gypsy King being escorted out of a local bar - with the heavyweight boxing star claimed to have 'enjoyed one drink too many'.

Fury was seen in the video footage being led out by two security staff at Nowhere bar, with fans on social media dubbing them as 'Britain's bravest bouncers'.

Further clips showed the 35-year-old boxer stumbling to his knees on the streets on Friday night.

Days later, Fury seemed intent on keeping his head down as the footage went viral as he strolled through the streets of his hometown with his father John.

According to the Sun, Fury had partied with friends and fans at the venue in his native Morecambe.

He was reportedly asked to leave by security, who deemed the boxer to have become too intoxicated.

'He had a couple too many and wasn’t feeling too well either,' a source close to Fury was quoted by the Sun.

'Tyson Fury not taking his first ever loss well. Former Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is kicked out of bar in Morecambe for being too drunk,' one fan wrote on social media.

The night out comes weeks after Fury was beaten by Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight world title fight.

The previously unbeaten Fury suffered a split decision loss in Saudi Arabia, seeing his WBC belt ripped away from him by the defeat.

Fury has since activated a rematch clause, with the pair set to face off again on December 21.

Footage posted on social media showed Fury being led out of the Morecambe venue on Friday

The Gypsy King had revealed after his loss that he planned to relax with his wife Paris and their seven children, as well as 'drink a few beers' before the rematch.

'We punched f*** out of each other for 12 rounds, so I’ll go home, eat some food, drink a few beers, have some family time, walk the dog, go to the tip,' Fury said last month.

Fury was defended on social media by DJ Scott Shearing, who revealed the star had been in Strawberry Gardens pub in Morecambe earlier in the day.

'I’m sure you’ve all seen the video of Tyson Fury being escorted out of Nowhere on FB. Lots of people with plenty to say,' Shearing wrote.

'The man is a bloody legend, multi millionaire and yet he is still just like you or me. He goes out shopping, just like you. Goes to the pub just like you, maybe gets drunk just like you too. I get he is a public figure but he is only human.

'I take my hat off to him as everywhere he goes people ask him for photos when he’s just out like everyone else to relax and unwind he always obliges. He was in the Strawbs Fri for a good few hours and they were all singing and keeping to themselves.

'Lots of people asked to have their picture taken with him. He took the time to do this in fact a young girl I know had her picture with him and he gave her £20. The man has a heart and feelings for god sake.

'In boxing he is a legend regardless of his last fight however he is proud to live in Morecambe and always mentions us.

'Money and fame can bring its own problems when the temptation for excess of anything is there and available, be it buying fancy cars, houses or going out drinking it must be hard to cope with mentally. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t turn it down but your every move is in the spotlight.

Fury has previously been open about his struggles with alcoholism during his career

'He has his own demons with mental health and all that goes along with it but let’s show the man some respect for his achievements and love of Morecambe.

'We should have a statue on the prom celebrating him not putting him down at every opportunity!!!'

Fury has previously been opened about his own mental health struggles after he had dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf in November 2015, only to surrender his belts amid problems in his private life.

The Gypsy King had ballooned up to 28st during two years out of the ring before shedding his excess weight and returning to the sport.

During his spell away from the ring, Fury famously forked out £813 to buy 200 Jagerbombs for England fans in Nice after joining them for Euro 2016.

This came during a period where he spent almost three years away from the ring

It was reported in 2021 that Fury had given up booze for his own wellbeing and for the good of his family, amid reports earlier that year he had been drinking 12 pints a day.

However, he went on a big night out in Melbourne last May after flying over to support his close friend Joseph Parker as he was pictured drinking in CBD nightclub Bond Bar.

Just weeks after narrowly beating former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in October, Fury told Mail Sport he had been boozing and 'eating s***', and was 'not interested in undisputed' before he finally agreed to face Usyk earlier this year.
