Aaron Rodgers produced his best performance so far as a Jet on Thursday, but broadcaster Erin Andrews is not thrilled with his no-show on Amazon's Thursday Night Football set after Gang Green's win over the Patriots.

While the quarterback did speak with Amazon's sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, he skipped out on appearing the broadcast's postgame show with Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, Richard Sherman and Andrews' close friend, host Charissa Thompson.

And as both Thompson and Andrews apparently consider Rodgers a friend, the latter criticized the Jets star for turning Thompson and the show down.

'I was looking forward to two of my really good friends yukking it up,' she said on her Calm Down podcast with Thompson, via Awful Announcing. 'I didn't love it.'

Andrews continued, 'I get really sensitive when our people…it's not that they don't make the time – I've made jokes to Tom Brady about it, 'Remember the game that you threw for 400 yards and you ran right past me on postgame and I reapplied lip gloss, are you insane?' It's just rude.

And that move was criticized by Erin Andrews, who is a close friend of the show's host Charissa Thompson

'Or now Aaron, when I talk to you, 'How dare you not go up on that desk with Charissa.' It does get personal.'

Rodgers has had an oftentimes tense relationship with the media throughout his time in the NFL.

Earlier this year, after he suggested that Jimmy Kimmel might be named as one of Jeffrey Epstein's associates in court filings, he took aim at the media.

'This is the game plan of the media, and this is what they do,' he said on the Pat McAfee Show. 'They try and cancel, you know? And it is not just me.'

He later agreed with Joe Rogan that his comments about Kimmel were 'taken out of context.'

Rodgers was also widely criticized in the media after it emerged that he was not vaccinated against Covid. He had previously said he was 'immunized' against the virus, which many took to mean he had received the vaccine.

Earlier this week, he had another media-related gripe as he accused Jets holdout Haason Reddick's agent of being behind critical leaks about himself and team.

In August, The Athletic published a report titled 'NFL agents dish on best (and worst) franchise' and included comments about a number of teams submitted by anonymous representatives.

In this case, the agent claimed there was 'complete disarray' at the Jets facility in Florham Park, New Jersey . The problems listed included Rodgers' decision to skip minicamp after suffering a season-ending injury in 2023, as well as concerns that the quarterback held too much power within the franchise.

Whether or not that's true, Rodgers looked good vs. the Patriots and there is real optimism around the 2-1 Jets.
