Actor Nick Pasqual is arrested attempting to flee to Mexico after 'stabbing makeup artist girlfriend Allie Shehorn 20 times' - three days after she obtained a restraining order

5 months ago 19

The LA make-up artist stabbed more than 20 times by her boyfriend and left for dead was granted a temporary restraining order just three days before the attack, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

In her application Allie Shehorn, 35, claimed she had suffered  from a shocking catalog of abuse including being raped, choked and beaten with a belt.

Days later, on May 23, Shehorn was violently attacked in her own home allegedly by actor Nick Pasqual, 34, who was arrested this week in Sierra Blanca, Texas, while attempting to flee across the border to Mexico.

Shehorn was on Wednesday afternoon charged with attempted murder, first-degree home invasion, and domestic violence injury, and will be extradited back to LA. He faces life in prison if convicted.

The boyfriend, who most recently appeared as a minor character called Thresher in 2023 movie Rebel Moon, previously attacked Shehorn on at least four occasions.

This was according to the make-up artist's application for a domestic violence restraining order obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

Allie Shehorn, 35, a Hollywood makeup artist, was stabbed, allegedly by Pasqual who was later arrested in Texas trying to cross the Mexican border

According to the papers, which were filed on May 18, Pasqual hit her with a belt on January 29, broke down several doors in their Sunland, California, home on March 6 and raped and choked her on April 14.

The escalating abuse, which peaked with the horror stabbing on May 23, also included a violent incident on May 18 which prompted Shehorn to apply for a restraining order.

According to the make-up artist, Pasqual became angry at around 3am 'and started yelling and screaming at me, which happens when he's under the influence.'

She went on: 'He slapped me across the face and as I was trying to get away down the hallway, he grabbed my hair and pulled me back and I slammed into the floor hitting the back of my head on the ground.'

Shehorn says she attempted to hide in the bedroom of a friend called Christine White, 62, who shares the former couple's home.

Pasqual then allegedly tried to batter the door down and when she unlocked it, shoved it against her causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head again.

According to Shehorn, the incident left her with concussion while Pasqual went on to threaten White as she dialed 911.

In her application for a restraining order, obtained by DailyMail.com, Shehorn claimed Pasqual previously attacked her on at least four occasions

LAPD booking records show Pasqual was arrested and charged with a felony at 10am the same day but bonded out of jail at 3.23pm that afternoon.

The restraining order request also includes a disturbing account of the alleged rape perpetrated by Pasqual on April 14 at an Airbnb.

On that occasion, Shehorn said the couple had been drinking the previous day and had begun having sex early that morning.

She said Pasqual had begun hurting her so she asked him to stop, only for the 34-year-old to continue and hold her down by both wrists as she struggled to escape.

When she finally was able to get up, Pasqual unleashed an angry tirade, telling her she didn't love him if she didn't allow him to orgasm.

Then, as she tried to leave the room, Pasqual allegedly grabbed her by the throat and squeezed, only releasing her when she threatened to scream and alert the other people staying in the property.

Shehorn added: 'He has been violent in the past but never physically with me apart from two nights where he ripped clothes off of me [sic].'

In the application, the special effects make-up artist also asked for protection for White and for the couple's white husky-mix dog Riley.

A hearing over whether to make the temporary restraining order permanent had been scheduled on June 11 in Pasadena while Pasqual was due to appear in court on a felony charge in San Fernando on June 12.

Pasqual will face court at a yet to be determined date once he is returned to LA and will be held on a $1.075 million bond.

'My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,' Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said.

'Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her.

'This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.'

Shehorn is recovering from the stabbing attack in hospital with White telling local news outlet KTLA she is in 'good spirits'.

White said she returned home to find Shehorn surrounded by blood in her bedroom, which she added 'wasn't a pretty sight.'

'This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody,' she continued. 'You don't think this is ever going to happen to you.'

A GoFundMe, set up to help Shehorn cope with her mounting medical bills, added in an update on Monday that White 'acted fast when she found Allie bleeding out', a move that 'saved her life.'
