An Arizona high school principal has been accused of using a social media app to send sexual messages to an undercover agent posing as a 12-year-old girl.

Buckeye Union High School principal Joe Kinney, 42, was taken into custody after he was allegedly caught sending vile texts to an agent under an alias in Oregon on an application called Whisper.

The website is described as 'an anonymous social media application that allows users to make posts, aka whispers, on the application and exchange messages with other users.'

Court documents state that the accused allegedly told the 'victim' that she should 'get cozy in her bed and take off her clothes'.

When told by the agent that they were only 12 years old, Kinney allegedly said: 'I don't mind your age'.

Officials also stated in the report that the disgraced principal continued to text the 'victim' after being made aware of their age.

At one point, he supposedly told the youngster that he would 'love to come rescue her and they would have a good time,' police said.

Documents also accuse Kinney of asking for nude pictures from the teen - which he never received.

The conversation ultimately came to an end when the 'victim' was ghosted after asking the principal about their job.

Afterwards, the FBI served a search warrant on Kinney's home in Goodyear and on the same day, the vile man was pulled over during a traffic stop.

Buckeye Union High School District Superintendent Dr. Steve Bebee later said that the the principal was placed on leave after investigation began

In an interview with police, Kinney admitted to liking Whisper since 'it seemed like fantasy and it was anonymous', according to the AZFamily

Official reports further state that the accused has admitted to speaking to multiple  underage girls on Whisper - but never thought any of them to be minors rather thought they were 'adults engages in fantasy chat and role-playing'.

Apart from this interaction, Kinney reportedly also told authorities that he interacted with a nine-year-old girl but since her picture did not look age appropriate, he assumed she was an adult.

The sickening man had also spoken to another 12-year-old on the app.

After this revelation, former FBI agent James Egelston warned parents to be careful of their children's online activities.

'This is another grime reminder of how important it is for parents to be aware of what websites their children do visit.

'Unfortunately, there are a lot of cases where people who have an interest in children try to work themselves into a position either through their professional employment or side interest where they have access to children. People should be aware of that as well,' he said.

As of now, Kinney has been charged with a count of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and is held at a a $60,000 bond.

If he manages to pay out of jail, he will have to undergo electronic monitoring and will be banned from ever contacting any minor without exceptions.

Buckeye Union High School District Superintendent Dr. Steve Bebee later said that the the principal was placed on leave after investigation began.

'The Buckeye Union High School District has been informed that BUHS Principal Mr. Joe Kinney is under law enforcement investigation for a personal matter unrelated to his work with the school or district.

Per district policy, Mr. Kinney has been placed on administrative leave until further notice. In the interim, Ms. Kristin Koke will assume the duties of principal at Buckeye Union High School,' the school said in a press release.
