Baywatch star Nicole Eggert responded to Jeremy Jackson’s shocking confession about engaging in a disturbing act with his female co-stars' swimsuits

Surprisingly, the 53-year-old actress — who is currently battling breast cancer — commended his honesty after the now 43-year-old actor recently admitted to smelling the actresses' dirty swimsuits when he was an adolescent on the show.

'I'm very accustomed to Jeremy being very honest and being himself, and he's a grown man at this point,' the Charles in Charge alum told TMZ on Thursday. 'That's what we love about Jeremy—his honesty, his candor.'

She continued, 'And the fact that he can make fun of an adolescent Jeremy... it's just the truth, and it's hilarious. I know people are shocked by it, but I'm sure all of us, at that weird adolescent age, have done some different things... and I just love it because I love him for his honesty.'

Nicole revealed that she learned about the swimsuit sniffing incident after Jeremy confessed it in the documentary After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, which aired on Wednesday.

'He's notthat person any more,if he was doing it as a man.. that would be a different story,' she added with a laugh.

She also noted that she doesn’t want to know which actress's swimsuit Jeremy preferred to smell during the filming of the series, which starred Pamela Anderson, Erika Eleniak, and Carmen Electra.

In the documentary, Jackson, who played Mitch Buchannon's (David Hasselhoff) son Hobie on the series from ages 10-19, said: 'I would usually sneak into [the women’s] trailers after they were done and grab their dirty bathing suits.'

He added: 'Let’s just say I smelled every [bleep] on Baywatch. And Nicole [Eggert] was the big one, for sure. We had a very intimate moment, her and I, that she never knew about.'

In another segment, Jeremy recalled an interaction with his onscreen father Hasselhoff: 'I remember David saying "Are you smoking pot or something?" And I was [thinking] like, "Jesus, they think I'm smoking pot?" I could never tell them the truth. What would they think?'

'When you haven't slept for five days and you've been smoking crystal meth, having somebody look you in the eyes and say "Dude, are you okay?" is like the worst thing that can happen.'

'I was spiraling down for sure,' the actor said, adding, 'My life slipped through my hands like sand.'

He also said he's in 'remission' today, in an interview with People.

Nicole (pictured 1994) continued, 'And the fact that he can make fun of an adolescent Jeremy... it's just the truth, and it's hilarious. I know people are shocked by it, but I'm sure all of us, at that weird adolescent age, have done some different things... and I just love it because I love him for his honesty.'

'[When people ask] "am I in a good place," they mean am I still sober. It's a huge mistake people make with "good and bad," when drug addiction and alcoholism is a case of mental sickness, not about morality fortitude or personal character and virtue.'

'I am in remission from the chronic, fatal and progressive disease I was once plagued with? "Yes, thank God. Yes, I am."'

Jackson recently made a rare red carpet appearance at the premiere of the Baywatch documentary on Monday in LA.

This comes after he began serving time behind bars in 2017 following his agreement to a plea deal for allegedly stabbing a woman in Los Angeles in 2015.

That same year the former Baywatch star was booted from Celebrity Big Brother in the UK for exposing fellow housemate Chloe Goodman's breast.

In 2014 he split from wife Loni Wilson after they had been married for less than two years.

Loni has alleged Jeremy attempted to strangle her in a physical altercation when they were drunk.

Meanwhile, at the red carpet premiere for After Baywatch, Nicole gave an update on her health.

Jackson, 43, who played Mitch Buchannon's (David Hasselhoff) son Hobie on the series from ages 10-19, revealed he would smell his co-stars' dirty swimsuits after a day of filming

Jeremy added: 'Let’s just say I smelled every [bleep] on Baywatch. And Nicole [Eggert] was the big one, for sure. We had a very intimate moment, her and I, that she never knew about - (pictured 1995 cast)

'I am good,' Eggert told People. 'I am in sort of a gray area and I finished my treatment, waiting for more imaging and hopefully maybe surgery.'

As for how her daughters Dilyn, 25, and Keegan, 13, are handling her diagnosis, the actress said they have taken it 'really well.'

'I mean, they kept me on my toes,' she said. 'My 13-year-old didn't give me any special treatment. It was still like, “Mom, give me that, let's go here, let's do that“'

Eggert went on to credit her girls for keeping her 'going' and life 'lively.'
