Bhad Bhabie has been cautioned about going under the knife for elective cosmetic surgery while battling cancer.

The influencer, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, recently revealed that she was diagnosed with a form of blood cancer that elevates her white blood cell count, but apparently does not affect her physical strength.

Since her diagnosis, the 21-year-old had her breasts done and silicone injections removed from her buttocks on December 12 before following up with a nose job in January.

After getting backlash online from fans for undergoing the elective surgeries, the rapper came out and insisted that she got clearance from her hematologist to go under the knife.

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Deepak Dugar told DailyMail.com that people actively battling cancer should take a cautious approach to cosmetic surgery, but insisted that Bregoli had followed the right protocol by speaking to her doctors first.

Speaking generally, Dr. Dugar said, 'I would personally never promote elective surgical procedures on a patient actively battling cancer. I feel the body needs all its resources and energy to battle cancer and priority should be put on survival always with cancer patients.

'Many diseases or disorders may rule someone out for elective surgery - especially bleeding disorders, heart or lung conditions, or even disorders that you may not think of, such as mental wellness.'

The Beverly Hills-based surgeon is known for his signature 'scarless nose jobs' and was behind Sami Sheen's rhinoplasty.

'I have operated on many patients in remission or patients who are cancer survivors, but I do feel the body needs its ability to heal to the best of its ability during cancer and that healing should be prioritized to me,' he said.

'That being said, a patient can be optimized even with active cancer to have cosmetic surgery - but this should be something the physician should verify.'

Dr. Dugar, who has performed over 3,000 rhinoplasty surgeries, stressed that it's important for patients with health issues to seek out approval from their doctors, like Bregoli did, before undergoing cosmetic surgery.

'She seems to have had a very aggressive open rhinoplasty with significant bruising, swelling, and downtime,' he explained.

'Regardless of the type of rhinoplasty she chose I do pray she heals well and has an amazing outcome and feels beautiful and amazing as all humans should.'

Denver-based plastic surgeon Dr. Manish Shah echoed Dr. Dugar's sentiment, telling RealSelf that it's important for plastic surgeons to get the greenlight from a patient's oncologist before any elective cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Shah also warned against getting neurotoxin injections like Botox or certain fillers while fighting cancer.

Not only was her nose still swollen, she had noticeable bruising underneath her eyes.

The OnlyFans star recently responded to backlash about her decision to go under the knife while battling cancer.

In a fiery video on Instagram, Bregoli insisted that she'd been cleared for surgery and that she had no regrets about her cosmetic tweaks.

'Y'all it doesn't matter if you liked my nose before.. this is my face. I didn't like it so I fixed it,' she raged.

'I'm going to the top doctors. They're not going to perform plastic surgery on a cancer patient without clearance from their cancer doctor.

'I had to get approval both times for my surgeries,' she continued.

'I just got my boobs and my, um, butt shots taken out on December 12. And I got my nose job on January 15. And both times I had to get clearance.'

She also explained her reasoning for getting surgery and admitted that her cancer diagnosis played a role in her desire to go under the knife again.

'I'm literally 21-years-old, battling cancer, who knows how long I'll be here for? You think I'm not gonna get my body and my face right and do everything I wanted to do?' she said.

Bregoli said that she had 'always wanted a nose job' and that she had also decided to get her breasts done after the birth of her daughter Kali Love in March.

'If you don't think I'm a live my life to the fullest and do everything that I wanna do without a care in the world about what you've got to say about me... I'm a do me, always!'

This is far from the first time that the young influencer has had cosmetic procedures.

She's previously admitted to getting lip and facial fillers, as well as 'sculptra and silicone' in her buttocks when she was just 16.

Last year, Bregoli had her facial fillers dissolved after complaining that they had aged her.

'Stop doing it unless you absolutely need it, it makes you look so much older and blocks you [sic] lymphatic draining system causing pillow face,' she warned her fans.

In November, she gave her first health update since revealing her cancer diagnosis after sparking concern among her fans over her thin and frail appearance.

She admitted that she was 'not prepared' to speak about her health battle at that time, but shared that she was doing 'okay.'

The star also said that the cancer medication she was on had caused her to lose weight.
