Blake Lively is facing backlash for yet another controversial interview after a video resurfaced of her 73 Questions With Vogue segment from 10 years ago.

The 37-year-old has been under fire over her promotion for controversial film It Ends With Us, with a rumored feud with her co-star and the film's director, Justin Baldoni.

The Vogue segment involves the interviewee answering rapid fire questions from a journalist as they move around a space, often their home.

In the video, which originally aired in July 2014, the Vogue journalist asked the actress which 'movie you laughed the hardest through' - with the actress' response baffling social media users.

'Shawshank Redemption,' she responded with a straight face.

The journalist quickly laughs before swiftly moving on to the next question.

The 1994 film is a notoriously somber film. Set in a prison, it centers around  a banker, played by Tim Robbins, who is sentenced to life in prison for murdering his wife and the man he was cheating on him with.

However, he maintains his innocence and eventually befriends a fellow prisoner, played by Morgan Freeman, and becomes involved in a money laundering scheme while experiencing the brutality of prison.

While Blake's response appears to be an attempt at humor, social media users couldn't help but point out the awkward exchange.

'The Shawshank Redemption? I cried watching it,' one astounded user said.

'Even as a joke I would not have picked Shawshank Redemption. Something like The Human Centipede or Silence of the Lambs would be better suited.

'I don't think Blake and I saw the same Shawshank Redemption,' one user joked in the comments.

'Shawshank is one of my favorite movies but to LAUGH through it is INSANE! I cry literally every time I watch it,' another confused user wrote.

'Guys, is just sarcasm but badly delivered...' added another.

'She's the kind of person where she's always kidding so there's no real answer given and so you're just sitting there like… sooo wait what is it actually,' another added.

Rumors of a divide between the two stars first arose after fans noticed that they failed to do any press together leading up to the film's release, and didn't interact at the movie's red carpet premiere in Los Angeles.

Additionally, she's endured backlash over her past 'mean girl' behavior and comments in multiple resurfaced interviews over the years, including the use of the transgender slur 'tranny' in several unearthed videos.

The film focuses heavily on domestic abuse, with the Gossip Girl actress criticized for the way she appeared to make light of serious questions about the themes during interviews.

Amid the controversy, a journalist resurfaced an 'uncomfortable' interview that she had with Blake in 2016, which further increased the fury.

During the sit-down, the actress made a snarky comment about Norwegian reporter Kjersti Flaa's 'bump' after she had congratulated a then-pregnant Blake on her impending arrival - but the journalist was not pregnant.
