Blind psychic Baba Vanga's terrifying 2024 prophecies revealed - and all the predictions she's got right so far

1 year ago 18

A blind psychic, who reportedly predicted 9/11 and the Covid-19 pandemic, has made terrifying predictions for 2024.

Baba Vanga, who died 27 years ago in 1996, was a Bulgarian prophetess who become a cult figure among conspiracy theorists after some of her pronouncements proved eerily true.

Known as the Nostradamus of the Balkans, she left behind predictions for every year up until 5079.

According to the mystic, 2024 will reportedly bring a host of dark events, including terrorist attacks in Europe, a major economic crisis and biological attacks, as well as an assassination attempt on Vladimir Putin.

The one prophecy with a glimmer of hope, according to Sky History, is an increase in medical breakthroughs - but how many previous predictions has Baba Vanga got right?

A blind psychic known as the Nostradamus of the Balkans, Baba Vanga, who died 25 years ago in 1996 aged 84, has made terrifying predictions for 2024

Droughts and floods in 2022

The psychic warned that large cities would face draught due to rising temperatures in 2022, which proved to be true.

Last year, we had the driest July in England since 1935, which caused 11 of the Environment Agency's 14 areas in England to be plunged into 'drought status' with hosepipe bans in some areas only being lifted in December.

The blistering heat and little rainfall also caused some of Britain's reservoirs to vanish, with river levels being recorded at 30 per cent of normal levels.

Other countries such as Italy, France and Portugal also faced record breaking droughts and wildfires.

Another of her 2022 prophecies was that Australia and Asia would be hit with 'intense bouts of floods'.

Again, this came true and Australia declared a national emergency in March of last year due to flooding.

The catastrophic' floods left 22 people dead and tens of thousands were forced to evacuate their Sydney homes after record rain lashed the east coast.

9/11

Perhaps her most haunting prediction, Baba Vanga correctly foresaw the 9/11 disaster.

She said to expect 'horror' for the US, warning in 1989 that 'the American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds'.

Adding 'The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.'

The prediction came true when four hijacked planes brought terror to America on 9/11, killing nearly 3,000 people, with people reading 'Steel birds' as a reference to the jets.

The Covid-19 pandemic

The seer reportedly predicted the Covid-19 outbreak in 1966 - she allegedly warned 'The corona will be all over us.'

A woman who met Baba, Neshka Stefanova Robeva, 73, claimed the psychic shared the prediction with her before she died.

She said, she 'did not realise' what the words meant at the time, according to the Daily Star.

Her own death

Baba Vanga even predicted her own death correctly, foreseeing that she would die on August 11 1996 at the age of 85.

It came true when the Bulgarian psychic passed away from breast cancer, with her funeral attracting large crowds.

The 2004 Boxing day tsunami

It's also widely reported that the mystic correctly foresaw the devastating Boxing Day tsunami of 2004.

The disaster brought devastation to Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and other countries, killing more than 230,000

Baba Vanga allegedly said 'A huge wave will cover a big coast covered with people and towns, and everything will disappear beneath the water.

'Everything will melt, just like ice'.

The 2000 Kursk disaster

The prophetess supposedly predicted the Kursk submarine disaster in 2000 - one of Russia's most serious naval disasters.

The submarine sank 12 months after Vanga claimed the Kursk was to be 'covered with water' and the 'whole world will weep over it'.

It plummeted as the result of an explosion onboard leading to 118 deaths - they all were dead when divers finally arrived eight days later and the Kursk was 350ft down.

Who is the blind psychic Baba Vanga?

Vanga grew up on a farm, in what is now Macedonia, and became blind after being dragged into a tornado when she was 12 years old.

Believers saying this freak accident was what gave her second sight.

She rose to fame during the Second World War for her eerie predictions.

Baba reportedly had an 85 per cent success rate with her predictions.

Before her death in 1996, aged 84, she left behind predictions for every year up until 5079.

Assassination of Indira Gandhi

Indira Gandhi was the third Prime Minister of India, who served from 1966 to 1977 and then again in 1980, before she was assassinated in 1984.

In 1969, Baba reportedly claimed 'The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire'.

On October 31, 1984, Ghandi was shot dead by two of her bodyguards - at the time she was wearing a saffron coloured saree.

The rise of Obama and Trump

Although this prediction did not completely ring true, elements of it became reality.

She revealed that the 44th US president, Barack Obama, would be the first to be black, although she did say he would be the very last, which did not come true.

Contradicting her last point, she also predicted the 45th president of the United States was to be 'faced with a crisis' that would 'bring the country down'.

This could be linked to the challenges faced during Trump's time in office, including the storming of the State Capitol in Washington DC.

She also predicted an illness for Trump, which came true when he caught Covid-19 in October 2020.

Other predictions

There are a whole host of prophecies Baba Vanga supposedly made during her 50-year career, including the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine in 1986 and the death of Princess Diana in 1997.

However, there are also predictions the seer has made that have not come true - she predicted an end to natural births in 2023, Earth’s orbit to shift and disastrous solar storms - so far, these are yet to materialise.

She also incorrectly predicted that Europe would 'cease to exist' by 2017, as the mystic said the continent would be turned into a 'wasteland almost entirely devoid of human life.'

However, believers have pointed out that Britain did vote to leave the European Union on June 23 of that year.
