A woman who was working at a Brooklyn laundromat was stabbed in the neck by an irate customer after she told him his clothes weren't ready to be picked up.

The 50-year-old female worked at a 24-hour super laundry on Bath Avenue in  Brooklyn.

The suspect dropped his clothes off in the morning on Monday and when he returned later that evening, he was told it wasn't ready before flying into a rage.

Witnesses said he allegedly slashed the woman's neck and arms before 2pm.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information told DailyMail.com the woman was brought to NYU Langone hospital in Brooklyn and didn't identify her.

But the unidentified woman told the New York Post she recognized her attacker as an infrequent customer and that his mother lives across the street from the laundromat.

This follows only a month after a Jewish man was slashed by a suspect screaming 'Free Palestine' right by a local synagogue.

The suspect, 22-year-old Vincent Sumpter, was charged with assault as a hate crime. He left 33-year-old Yechiel Dabrowskin hospitalized following a heated altercation on the streets of Brooklyn.

It happened on August 11, as the Israeli, who had come to the US to study religion, walked home from a Shabbos meal near the Chabad Headquarters in Crown Heights.
