Caitlin Clark has added a new remarkable WNBA record to her rookie season - after making her 86th three-pointer of the year.

Clark now has the record for the most three-pointers by a rookie in league history, completing the feat with a barely-believable nine games to play.

The record was previously held by Rhyne Howard, and set in 2022, but Clark is continuing to dominate the league in her first year with the Indiana Fever.

Clark passed the mark in the first quarter of the Fever's home game against the Connecticut Sun at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

Her latest success comes just two days after she helped break another WNBA attendance record, on the road in Atlanta on Monday.

17,608 fans packed the Atlanta Hawks' State Farm Arena - setting the bar for the highest-ever attendance for a WNBA game in Georgia.

The last record was held by the Dream and Fever's previous matchup in the Peach State on June 24, which drew 17,575 fans.

Shattering attendance records has been a theme across the league when Clark and the Fever are in town.

Just days after setting the previous record for Atlanta, Clark drew 18,343 spectators in the Pacific Northwest against the Seattle Storm. She then brought 20,366 into the seats against the Las Vegas Aces on July 2 and 19,023 in Minnesota against the Lynx on August 24.

In the same game, Clark suffered an injury scare after rolling her ankle and screaming out in pain, before being taken out of the game.

Although the crowd held its collective breath, she was thankfully back in shortly after and started for the Fever in Wednesday night's game in Indiana.

The Fever are 14-16, but eight teams make the playoffs - giving them a 99% chance of getting in.

As it stands, the team sit seventh in the standings, just ahead of Chicago Sky and Angel Reese - Clark's big rookie rival.
