Cameron Diaz was every inch the hands-on mother as she carried her daughter Raddix on a rare family outing with her husband Benji Madden in Montecito.
While preparing to buckle her little girl, who turns four-years-old next month, up in the backseat of her black SUV on Saturday, the In Her Shoes actress, 51, cracked a sweet smile as her longtime spouse reached for the car door.
The happy couple's rambunctious toddler appeared to be brimming with energy before they headed home as she held onto Diaz's hand and ran around in a pair of red and black Spiderman sneakers.
At one point, Raddix seemingly managed to kick off one of her shoes, which her dad dutifully picked up and placed in their vehicle.
The Charlie's Angels star looked casually chic in an all-black ensemble, which consisted of a black button-down, matching pants and a $1,490 belt bag.

The mother-of-one completed her laid-back look with black glasses and olive green Birkenstocks, which displayed her burgundy pedicure.
For their outing, Madden wore a black baseball cap, hoodie and slacks.
Diaz and Madden first met in early 2014 through Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel Madden.
She married the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of band Good Charlotte in early January 2015.
The couple welcomed Raddix via surrogate on December 30th, 2019.
Raddix was in attendance at Diaz's sister-in-law Sofia Richie's wedding in the South of France earlier this year, alongside both her parents.
In March, Diaz said motherhood is 'the best thing' she's 'ever done in life.'

When asked about how she copes with the difficult moments, the mom-of-one confessed that she has a 'check list' she goes through.
'Did she eat? Is she tired? What time is it? When was the last time she ate? When did she nap? You just kind of start there, and you go, 'What just happened? Is there something she's trying to communicate to me?'' the performer explained.
'And I feel like as a parent, my job is to just help her find the words to her emotions, her experience, what she's going through and be able to help her identify that and move through it.'
Still, Cameron admitted that moments like these can be 'challenging.'
She added, 'But you know what's also really imperative - to repair. Like if you do blow up, just to repair that and say, 'Oh my God, mommy lost her s***' And, 'I didn't mean to say that to you.
'If I hurt your feelings or if I upset you, I just want you to know that mommy's human too.' '
