A chaotic street brawl erupted outside a school in Chile, leading a student to hit his own mother with a family car before plowing into the father of a student the driver had been fighting with earlier at the school.
The wild melee was sparked by an earlier fight between the two students on Thursday inside the school in Puente Alto, outside Santiago. After their parents were summoned to the school, all hell broke loose - with witnesses capturing the scene on video.
Multiple clips showed several people squaring off in the street, with the mother at one point seen pouncing on the father of the student her son had been fighting earlier that day. Authorities said she stabbed the man.

In the clips, she can be seen striking the man several times with her right hand. After the two separate following the tussle, a white SUV driven by the woman’s son speeds into her, sending her flying to the ground.
The driver then accelerates into the father of his rival classmate as several people continue brawling in the street.
Another clip shows the student driving into the father a second time before getting out of the vehicle and kicking him.

Five adults and two students were arrested, with all seven scheduled to appear before a judge on charges that include attempted homicide.
'Upon leaving the school, both families began to argue and attack each other, resulting in two people being stabbed, and two people being run over by a relative of one of the students, while at the same time causing various blows, threats and damage to both families,' said Juan Cheuquiante, who is leading the investigation out of the Metropolitan South Regional Prosecutor's Office.
'The detainees will be charged with attempted homicide, injuries of varying severity, as well as damage and threats.'

Punto Alto Mayor Germán Codina told Chilevision Television that he was concerned with the behavior exhibited by the parents and students.
'There was apparently already violent behavior here some time ago, which was reported by the educational establishment, and I am concerned that no concrete measures have been taken,' Codina said.
Police patrol has been increased at the school in the morning and afternoon.
