Dak Prescott and his girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos revealed over the holiday that they're expecting their first child, and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback shared his excitement with reporters on Monday.
'Super, super blessed to have that responsibility,' Prescott said. 'But, at the same time [to] have that opportunity to start a family and bring a child into this world. I know what my mom means to me and, in a sense, have that feeling in a different role is something I'm looking forward to.'
Prescott recently lost his mother to colorectal cancer, and has been outspoken about her memory and the disease in the ensuing months.
As for the baby, the couple is expecting a girl and already has a name picked out, but they'll keep a lid on it until their March due date.
'A little bit of Heaven sent down to Earth [heart emoji],' read a recent post on Ramos' Instagram page featuring the pregnant mother exposing her baby bump. 'Our immeasurable blessing. I cannot wait to raise a strong, confident, beautiful baby girl with you @_4dak.'
