Dazzling Caitlin Clark leads Fever to fourth straight win amid playoff chase as WNBA Hall of Famer compares her to Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods

Caitlin Clark shined in the Indiana Fever's fourth straight win as they left Dallas with a 100-93 win over the Wings on Sunday.

In 37 minutes of play, Clark clocked in 28 points, 12 assists, and four assists for her second-straight double-double. Meanwhile, Kelsey Mitchell led the game in scoring with 36 points to parlay with six boards.

With Clark's sensational rookie season nearing its conclusion, Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman commended the former Iowa star for her contributions to the game during the broadcast.

'When I walked in here before the game, there were just hundreds of fans lined up,' Lieberman said. 'What Caitlin Clark has done for the game is generational. As a baller to a baller, I just want to say thank you to you, Caitlin Clark.'

'For lifting our game up,' she continued. 'You and so many great players. But what you're doing, you're gonna make all these women multimillionaires one day. Like Tiger [Woods] did. Like Michael Jordan did.'

'We shouldn't hate on her, we should celebrate her, not tolerate her,' Lieberman added.

While Clark's rookie campaign has been marked by the attendance and viewership numbers spiking since she entered the WNBA, the Fever are in a tight race to playoff contention as the postseason gets closer.

Indiana now holds a 17-16 record, sitting sixth in the league with six games remaining. Trailing behind them is Phoenix at 16-17 while Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky try to cling onto the final playoff seed at 11-21.

Before the trip to Dallas, Clark and Reese locked horns for the final time as rookies and both dropped double-doubles as the Fever took the 100-81 win and regular season series, 3-1.

While Reese barely hit the marks with 10 points and 11 boards, Clark erupted with a game-high 31 points with her 12 dishes - the perfect way to set the table for another double-double in Dallas.

The win and her performance were foreshadowed when Clark started a beautiful sequence to tie the game at six. Clark threaded a pass through 3/4 of the court to Kelsey Mitchell, who played a behind-the-back bounce pass to NaLyssa Smith for a layup.

Clark would finish the game making 10 of 19 attempts from the field and 5 of 11 from three. While she had an impressive performance, Clark also tallied seven turnovers in the game.

On deck for Indiana is a five-game home stretch with games against Los Angeles, Minnesota, Atlanta, Las Vegas twice, and Dallas. They will close the regular season on the road against Washington.

As a rookie, Clark is leading the league in assists and trails Sabrina Ionescu in three-pointers made. The Rookie of the Year frontrunner also broke the record for most assists by a rookie late in August.
