An elderly Texas man was struck in the back of the head by his Uber driver amid a heated argument over legroom.
Surveillance video captured the harrowing moment Suleman Gauba, 68, was punched in the Dallas Design District on Wednesday.
Footage shows the Uber driver arriving at Market Center Boulevard where Gauba and his wife were waiting to be picked up.
The elderly couple can be seen climbing into the back seats of the Uber Driver's Chevrolet Malibu.

But the car doesn't move, and it remains in the same position for two-and-a-half minutes.
Then Suleman gets out of the car, and as he walks away, the driver creeps up behind him and punches him in the back of the head.
The force of the blow caused the 68-year-old to crumple onto the ground, where he lies sprawled out.
While the driver towers over him, Gauba's wife slowly got out of the car.
According to Gauba, the violence stemmed from a commonplace disagreement concerning how much legroom he had in the vehicle.
'I cannot sit in the back seat,' he told Fox4. 'Very small place, you know?'
After Gauba complained to the Uber driver about the limited legroom, he said that the driver abruptly cancelled the ride and ordered him to exit the vehicle.

'He said, "I'm cancelling your ride,"' the 68-year-old recalled.
Gauba said he asked, 'why are you cancelling my ride?' Around this point, he said his wife told the driver 'I'm calling the cops.'
The suspect was able to drive away before the authorities arrived.
Gauba, who is originally from Pakistan, recounted the feelings he experienced when the driver struck him in the back of the head.

After moving to Dallas from New Mexico a few years ago, the 68-year-old said he has come to rely on Uber rides to move about the city.
'We wanted to go to the Walmart,' Gauba told Fox4.
He hopes that authorities will be able to find the driver and mete out justice.
'He deserves jail,' Gauba said.
The Dallas Police Department is investigating the incident. They confirmed that an argument occurred before the driver struck the 68-year-old in the head.
Gauba and his wife have already lodged a complaint with Uber, who told Fox4 that 'violence of any kind is not tolerated' on their platform.
'We have been in touch with the rider, and have removed the driver's access to the platform,' Uber's statement concluded.
