Donald Trump addresses 'bizarre' feature that emerged during two-hour rambling chat with Elon Musk and hails Tesla CEO 'special'

Donald Trump has finally addressed his apparent lisp during Monday night's interview with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. 

After listeners noticed a change in the former US president's voice, and poked fun at him for sounding like A cartoon character, Trump has taken to his own social media platform Truth Social last night to address the bizarre sound.

The GOP presidential candidate blamed it on the 'complexity of modern day equipment' adding: 'Due to cellphone technology, my voice was, in certain areas, somewhat different and strange' 

Commentary on the two-hour long rambling chat between billionaire X owner Elon and Trump was dominated by listeners noticing what sounded like a lisp.

Many listeners commented he was even slurring his words and struggling with S sounds with memes of Trump as Mike Tyson and Daffy Duck immediately began trending.

But a spokesman for Trump responded to reporters questions on the questionable audio saying: 'Must be your s***ty hearing. Get your ears checked out.'

While addressing his lisp, Trump also took the opportunity to boast about the 'record audience' him and Musk received, and personally thanked the tech billionaire for 'such a strong Endorsement', during the extraordinary interview.

'Elon himself is very special', he added. 

The pair sat down for a two-hour chat on X discussin wide range of topics from immigration, religion to global warming and much more.

Even before the rambling interview kicked off it was beset by problems as a cyber-attack just before the pair went live resulted in a 43-minute delay.

But once up and running, Trump spoke about becoming more religious after the attempt on his life in Pennsylvania on July 13, a shooting that Musk said showed Trump's courage, while Musk urged Americans to vote for the Republican presidential nominee over Kamala Harris.

As the conversation continued the two touched on an extraordinary range of subjects including admiration for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Trump accusing Joe Biden of having a low IQ. 

The 45th President of the United States also vowed to build an 'Iron Dome' defence system for America like the one used by Israel to intercept missiles and promised that he would oversee the largest deportation of illegal immigrants in history if he became president in November, insisting that cities like New York have been 'overwhelmed' and that 'rough people' including terrorists are entering the US from Mexico.

'These are people that are in jail for murder and all sorts of things, and they're releasing them into our country,' he said.

There was also an awkward moment that might put the politician in the doghouse at home where he told Musk that his presidential rival Harris bore a resemblance to his wife.

Discussing Kamala's Time cover he said: 'She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live. It was a drawing, and actually, she looked very much like a great first lady, Melania'.
