Transformers One movie catches fans off guard as viewer bizarrely brands 'insane' film the 'sexiest thing'

Fans of the new film Transformers One, released on Friday, took to social media to voice their approval.

Moviegoers flocked to X to express their delight over the latest installment in the franchise, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, and Keegan-Michael Key among others.

One person wrote on the site, 'I legit got caught off guard at how good Transformers One was.'

Someone else joined in to hilariously write, 'That was the sexiest thing to ever happened to me.'

Another added, 'I'm so glad it was good. We are so back,' in capital letters. 

Another supporter of the long-running Transformers movies advised, 'If you're a diehard fan or new to the franchise, go see this movie. It will not disappoint!'

One pleased fan had one word to describe the movie: 'AMAZING.'

All another person could say was 'wow.'

Another very happy viewer called the feature film the 'best Transformers movie ever.'

Transformers One, directed by Josh Cooley, tells the origin story of the feud between Optimus Prime and Megatron.

The movie currently boasts an 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. 

An official trailer for the anticipated film was released in April, five months before fans could see the project in full. 

The picture follows younger versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron — Orion Pax and D-16 — as they develop a close friendship before breaking away from each other to become sworn enemies. 

Development on the movie began in the mid 2010s, and it was officially confirmed that an animation was in the works in 2017. 

Steven Spielberg was one of the executive producers, and Michael Bay — who helmed several features in the Transformers film series — also produced.

Brian Tyree Henry, Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne are also part of the film's A-list cast.
