US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau has teased a new YouTube video with Donald Trump after playing a round of golf with the former US President.

DeChambeau, who won the US Open for a second time last month, shared a clip on Instagram of himself and Trump posing on the golf course together.

'It’s time for @realdonaldtrump to show YouTube what he’s got,' the caption reads.

Trump is set to feature on DeChambeau's popular 'Break 50' YouTube series, in which the golf star attempts to play nine holes in less than 50 strokes from the red tees - the most forward tees on each hole - alongside a high-profile guest.

And his latest partner can hardly be any more high profile, with Trump currently in pole position to be re-elected as President later this year.

However, DeChambeau was quick to stress on social media that his link-up with the 78-year-old was by no means a political statement. Instead, for every stroke they score under par both he and Trump agreed to donate $10,000 to a charity which supports US veterans and active duty service members.

'To be clear, this is about golf and giving back to our nation's veterans, not politics,' DeChambeau wrote on X.

'A few weeks ago I reached out to both parties’ presidential campaigns and @realDonaldTrump was down for the challenge.

'It is an incredible honor to be able to enjoy a round of golf with any sitting or former president, and all have an open invitation to join me for a round of Break 50 anytime.'
