Frightening moment driver fires three shots at motorist during Brazilian road rage spat

This is the disturbing moment a man opened fire on another vehicle during a road rage incident in southeastern Brazil.

Footage of the scene on Friday shows the victims arguing with shooter Adriano Domingues before he blocks them off at a highway exit in Boituva, São Paulo.

Domingues subsequently approaches the driver's side while holding a gun behind his back.

He instructs married couple William Isidoro and Gabrielle Gimenez to lower the window while they are talking to 911 operators and subsequently steps away before he fires two shots at one of the tires as his wife runs away.

Domingues later takes aim t at the windshield and another at the tire before retreating to his vehicle.

Adriano Domingues is wanted by authorities in the southeastern Brazilian state of São Paulo after he was filmed firing at a vehicle with two occupants during a road rage incident last Friday. The São Paulo Civil Police are seeking to arrest him on attempted murder charges

Isidoro and Gimenez told TV Globo that the incident was sparked a collision on the highway after Domingues hit the side of their car.

'He was speeding and hit the side of our car. We asked him to pull over and, when he did, he got out armed,' Gimenez said. 

'At the second stop, I was already in contact with (911), informing the our location so they could send a patrol car.'

Nayara Souza, the couple's lawyer, said that Domingues punched the passenger window when they stopped on the shoulder of the highway moments before he shot at them.

Domingues' laywer, Luiz Tucho, argued that the couple rear-ended his SUV and tailed him for 40 minutes while making threats.

Brazilian authorities searched the home of Adriano Domingues and seized his passport and a martial arts sword 

Domingues is wanted by the São Paulo Civil Police on attempted murder charges and was still on the run as of Monday afternoon.

Authorities recovered his vehicle on Saturday at a hotel in the municipality of Piraju, 133 miles from where the shooting occurred.

Cops searched his home in Mariporã and seized a martial arts sword and his passport.

'There was no need to break into a house like that. They should have rang the doorbell,' Tucho said. 

'There were people in the house at the time, including two children. They broke down the gate, blew open the front door.'
