Former ESPN football analyst Todd McShay has blasted Travis Kelce for 'partying all offseason' as more criticism comes to the Chiefs' tight end's lap during his awful start to the NFL season.

In three games, Kelce has eight catches for 69 yards and no touchdowns, much slower than his usual dominant pace.

While opponents have targeted Kelce, that hounding by linebackers and defensive backs has not stopped Taylor Swift's boyfriend from getting into the end zone and putting up huge numbers in the past.

It is no secret Kelce had the busiest offseason of his career, and possibly a more intensive time between the Super Bowl and training camp than anyone else in the NFL.

His numerous brand deals and personal investments would keep anyone busy. Then there's his globetrotting to keep up with Swift's stadium tour stops in London, Amsterdam, Singapore, and more.

Travis Kelce has had a horrible start to his 2024 season with only eight catches in three games

Some have blamed Kelce's bad start on how busy he has been this offseason while dating Swift

'Every show I watch, every pregame show, halftime show, postgame show, weekday show, every broadcast I watch for the last few weeks, it’s like are we not allowed to say that he’s out of shape, that he’s been partying all offseason?' McShay said on 'The Ryen Russillo Podcast.'

'He’s been jet-setting around with the most famous person probably in the entire world, that’s he drinking, going to the U.S. Open.'

Kelce went as far as to appear on stage with Swift during one of her 'Eras Tour' shows in London.

'What I do know is, I want you to take a picture from preseason 2022 and then take a picture preseason 2024, they’re barely the same human being,' McShay continued.

'... The coverage and the respect he gets is the same, the athlete is not. Now, is he going to work himself into shape during the season? Yeah, I’m sure he will. He’s an unbelievable competitor, he’s one of the best to ever do it.'

'He still finds a way to make a play or two here and there and shows up in some clutch moments, but he’s not the same guy right now.'

Kelce's next chance to prove his doubters wrong comes Sunday, as the Chiefs travel to Los Angeles to face the Chargers.
