Frozen fans received an early holiday gift as Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed a fourth installment of the animated smash hit on Wednesday.
Iger revealed the famed studio is working on the new movie in addition to the previously announced Frozen 3, which hasn’t been released yet, during an interview with Good Morning America.
'Well, I'll give you a little surprise,' Iger teased from Hong Kong Disneyland. ‘Frozen 3 is in the works and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works, too.
'But, I don't have much to say about those films right now,' he continued. 'But Jenn Lee who created Frozen - the original Frozen and Frozen 2 - is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.'
Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the songwriters of Frozen, are set to return and compose new songs for the two upcoming sequel films, as confirmed by Anderson-Lopez on social media.
