The chase involved a suspect who was driving a Dodge Charger that they'd stolen on Thanksgiving Day.
Cops say they'd tried to pull over the Charger but he began to drive away, forcing them to pursue.
At around 3pm Friday in Long Beach, the stolen car was fleeing when it ran into a white truck that was making a left turn into an intersection.
The crash was so intense, the vehicles plowed into a gas station and eventually a traffic pole, with the impact causing it to fall down.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged, with the hood of the stolen car completely wrecked

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was taken into custody after going to a local hospital to deal with a fractured ankle.
