A news report on a town fair went hilariously haywire on Tuesday when the journalist was repeatedly kissed by amorous sea lions - prompting her to break down laughing.

Giuliana Bruno was reporting live from the opening of the Altamont Fair in upstate New York Tuesday morning when she decided to stand next to two sea lions.

'Like I said, this is probably the closest I've ever been to a sea lion before,' she says as the sea lion to her right starts to lean in to her, almost touching her microphone.

'And now I don't want to leave,' the journalist says, as the anchors of News 10 could be heard laughing from the studio.

'I feel like I'm part of it, and we're family now,' Bruno continues, while the sea lion lays its head on her shoulder.

'So yeah, when you come to the Altamont Fair, it's just one of the many -' Bruno starts to say as the sea lion kisses her on the cheek.

At that point, Bruno starts laughing as she tries to finish up her report, ' - different things that you can check out.'

She continues to laugh through the remainder of the report, as she updates the public on the timing of the fair.

Eventually she is able to stop chuckling for long enough to sign off- and identifies the sea lions as Sara and Ava.

That prompts morning news anchor Christina Arangio to tell her, 'Sara is fancying you Giuliana.

'Thanks for the laughs this morning, Giuliana,' Arangio says.

'You're a good sport to put up with those little flirts on the air.'

'And kudos for putting yourself out there in order to create these moments,' Cody wrote.
