Houston Texans receiver Tank Dell was SHOT in Florida on Saturday night, the team announces, before being released from hospital with a 'minor wound'... as police arrest a 16-year-old boy for allegedly shooting 10 people

Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was the victim of a shooting on Saturday night, according to the team, as the 24-year-old was one of 10 people wounded at a packed venue in Florida. 

Dell sustained a 'minor' wound after an incident at Cabana Live in Sanford, Florida, before being released from the hospital.

The team said that Dell is in 'good spirits' following the harrowing ordeal.

'We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time,' the team wrote in a statement posted to X. 

'Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident.' 

As reported by Click Orlando, 16-year-old Christopher Bouie Jr. was arrested over the alleged shooting.

He was charged with attempted homicide, possession of a firearm by a minor, use and display of a firearm during a felony and firing a weapon in public property, according to his arrest report.
